Uwe Breuer

Uwe has a passion for hairdressing which began in 1975 as an apprentice in Germany. After completing his apprenticeship he worked in Hamburg and joined Vidal Sassoon in 1984 where he underwent a nine months total re-training programme.
His unique talents were soon recognised and his career really took off. Within two years at Vidal Sassoon he was promoted to Creative director. During this time he participated in international shows and seminars, including London Fashion Week.
He worked in Vidal Sassoon’s Salons and Academy in Los Angeles and San Francisco then transferred to London in 1996 where he was appointed Creative Manager at Vidal Sassoon’s Schools and Academies.
Uwe has built up a strong, regular clientele in many parts of the world. His concern for his clients is renowned, as are his detailed planning and organisational talents. He has studied the philosophy of hairdressing in depth and has given numerous media interviews.
He has judged competitions in the UK and Far East and published work in Vogue, and the Vidal Sassoon Collections.
Uwe is well known for his training modules and seminars in the following countries: UK, USA, Greece, Japan, Taiwan, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Russia, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Estonia, Latvia, Malaysia and Australia.
He now manages and promotes his own company: UB Education which offers a wide range of courses with the ability to tailor make them to suit the individual needs of companies and clients.

Christiano Lanza

Christiano’s passion for hairdressing began in the late 80s and early 90’s. His inspiring journey in education has led him to all four corners of the globe and proudly continues over 40 years of family traditions.
In 2001 Christiano accepted a place joining the highly acclaimed Vidal Sassoon team. Achievements in creative and assessors awards included the title of Colour Director.
Whilst much of his time was spent teaching at the London academies, Christiano also represented in several international shows and seminars as well as featuring in the development of collection techniques in videography publications.
Since 2011 he has continued to work along side leading manufactures, acting as both a consultant and as Christiano Lanza Ltd.
While he is fully committed to educational events, in-salon consultancy and team building remain key to his success.
His continued innovational thinking is at the forefront of modern education and shares a unique philosophy in the importance of communication of shape and colour in hair design.
Christiano Lanza is an engaging and passionate person, with an innate understanding of students from all cultures and their individual needs and motivations. He is widely respected for his expert knowledge, welcoming new and advanced students.


Sophie Dale

Sophie is a freelance colour specialist who divides her time between salon, education and editorial work. The formative stages of her career were spent at Vidal Sassoon working as a senior technician both in the salons and academies.
As a freelancer, she draws on her exceptional technical background whilst developing new techniques, approaches and editorial inspired looks. She has worked collaboratively with a number of hair stylists and product companies on developing collections, seminars and imagery for campaigns including Davines and Clynol and stylists Uwe Breuer (UB Education).
She still enjoys working in a salon where she colours a legion of loyal clients predominately from the music and fashion industries. She is also a qualified trichologist from The Institute of Trichology and has a fine art degree from Goldsmiths College, London.
